Refund policy
Last updated 18 September 2026 · TensionLine is currently in public beta, and nothing is being charged
Ask for a refund within 30 days of any payment and you get all of it back. No reason needed.
What it covers
Every payment: your first month, your first year, and every renewal after them. The 30 days run from the date each payment was taken. The refund is the full amount you paid — not pro-rated, and not reduced for how much you used the product.
How to ask
Email support@tensionline.app from the address on your account, or use the refund link on the receipt you were sent when you paid. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
What happens next
- The refund goes back to the payment method you used, and is issued within five business days of your request. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to show it.
- The refunded subscription ends, and your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you entered is deleted — your portfolios, theses and prediction ledger stay yours. If you want the account gone as well, you can delete it yourself; see the Privacy policy.
Who handles the payment
Paid plans are sold through a merchant of record — a reseller that takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, appears on your card statement, and issues refunds on our behalf. Its name is on every receipt. Asking us or asking them both work; either way the policy above is the one that applies.
Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to any right the law already gives you where you live, including the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days in the EU, the EEA and the UK. Where more than one applies, you get whichever is better for you.
During the beta
Nothing is charged during the public beta, and no payment provider is connected yet. Paid plans are planned for late November; this policy applies from the first payment anyone makes. See Pricing.
